Common questions

How is the waste estimate calculated?

Your 10 answers produce a health score from 0 to 100. We convert that score into an estimated waste percentage — from about 4% for a perfectly managed stack up to about 30% for an unmanaged one, in line with published industry benchmarks on unused licenses, duplicate tools, and missed renewals — and multiply it by your annual SaaS spend.

Is this really free?

Yes, completely free. We ask for a work email to unlock your results so we can send occasional IT operations resources — no credit card, no trial, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Is my data stored?

Your answers are scored entirely in your browser — they never leave your device. Only the email you provide, plus your score and headline numbers, are saved so we can send you relevant resources.

What counts as SaaS waste?

Unused or under-used licenses, duplicate tools covering the same job, auto-renewed contracts nobody reviewed, orphaned apps with no owner, and access that was never revoked after someone left. Most companies leak 20–30% of their SaaS spend this way.

How accurate is the estimate?

It's a directional estimate based on your governance maturity, not an audit. The gap report tells you exactly where to look first — a proper license-utilization and renewal review will give you the precise number.
