Private by design
- Stays on your device. The app has no server to send your clips to — it contains no code that uploads them.
- No account, no sign-up. Install it and go. No ads. No analytics.
- Works offline. No connection needed for anything it does.
- Respects password managers. Items they flag as private are never saved.
- You're in control. Pause capture, delete any clip, or clear everything in one click.
Straight talk
We'd rather be honest than impressive. Here's what you should know today:
- Not encrypted inside the app yet. Your history is stored in your user profile on your device. Turn on full-disk encryption (BitLocker / device encryption) — it's the right protection today. In-app encryption is on our roadmap.
- Anything you copy can be saved. Use “Pause capture” before copying something sensitive.
- Early builds are unsigned. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning the first time you install (choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”).

Where is my data stored?
On your own device, in the app's own folder inside your user profile (on Windows, under %APPDATA%). Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything works without an internet connection.
Will it save my passwords?
Password managers that mark their copies as private are skipped on Windows. But Copypasta can save anything else you copy, so use “Pause capture” when handling secrets, and delete any clip with one click.
Why does Windows show a warning when I install it?
Early builds aren't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen says the publisher is unknown. Only install builds you received directly from us.
How do I delete everything?
Open Settings and choose “Clear history” (pinned items stay unless you delete them), or uninstall the app and delete its data folder.
Does it work in every app?
It works with anything that uses the system clipboard — browsers, documents, chat, design and code tools.
